Feel The Manouche is the latest band under the leadership of Sydney-based jazz violinist and singer George Washingmachine. Feel the Manouche has a 'world music' feel. Through its use of double bass, guitar, accordion and fiddle, the band achieves a strong melodic groove that can take on gypsy waltzes, swing jazz, choro and many other flavours of music from our diverse planet. This fine band has been put together by its individual members as an exercise in small group swing.

Based in Brisbane, the Ingrid James Quartet play many styles from contemporary jazz, bebop, jazz standards through to bossa novas, sambas, blues, and other jazz modalities as well as originals and original reharmonised arrangements of pop standards from Beatles to Rolling Stones. They are known for their spontaneity, emotional depth and dynamics.

$15 cover charge
Meal bookings preferred (03) 6424 2148

Shirazz plays classic trad jazz as it was meant to be played. With hot solos, driving rhythms and tight arrangements, a set from Shirazz is a step back in time to a jumping New Orleans dance hall where fast, hot tunes intersect with swinging standards and laid-back Louisiana street beats. With the odd original tune and some re-imagined pop classics, Shirazz should be enjoyed irresponsibly and in excess.
